Constructed during the last phase of country house building in Cheshire. Worthington chose a type of restoration house with a large two storey central block and lower projecting wings flanking a forecourt. In the tall hipped roof of Cotswold stone are small-paned dormer windows and at the centre is a giant portico. Plans for the house were exhibited by Worthington at the Royal Acadamy in 1914. Work began in 1915 and the house was completed in 1917. There is nothing modest about the design of Radbroke, the layout is bold and formal but , as with Lutyens' houses, it contains spatial drama and surprise.

Sold for offices in 1955
