Full Description
<1> See map for surveyor, c.1837-51, Cheshire Tithe Maps and Awards, EDT 340/2, 1839 (Maps and Plans). SCH3266.
This map depicts a circular hill or mound circa one hundred metres in diameter at its base and circa forty-five metres in diameter at the top. The latter is depicted as being covered with trees. The plot containing this feature is called Wind Mill Field.
