Parish boundary stone : dated 1849. Ashlar buff sandstone. Pillar, equilaterally triangular in section, has a domed top with well cut M (for Macclesfield) 1849 on south face, F (for Fallibroome) 1849 on northwest face and the north east face is partly exfoliated but the date survives and it must have read P (for Prestbury). One of series of boundary stones set up around Macclesfield at this date and part of the stone is in the former urban district.
