A wide, c.10-11 metres, but shallow regular linear depression extending from two rectangular marl pits to the southern end of another rectangular marl pit c.115 metres to the east. Appears to be respected by ridge and furrow created by steam ploughing. A similar feature, but less clearly defined, run east-south-east from the mid-point on the eastern side of this marl pit for c.190 metres. Appears to cut existing narrow ridge and furrow.
