The site of Talke and Alsager Road Station (later known as Alsager Road Station). This station on the North Staffordshire Railway, Audley Branch. It opened in 1899 and was closed in 1931, when the station was part of the LMS railway.

Full Description

<1> Dyble, D, Unknown, The Audley Branch Railway (Web Site). SCH9439.

Talke and Alsager Road opened in July 1889. It was probably named for Talke and Alsager Road, being some distance from Talke. Renamed Alsager Road in May 1902.

1st July 1889 station opens. 1st November 1902 station renamed. 27th April 1931 station closes.

This map depicts the station as a building located on the western side of the tracks.
