Full Description

Cottage, exterior circa 1800 with internal features probably circa 1700. Flemish bond brown brick with some pale headers; grey slate roof. Two storeys, two windows; almost symmetrical with added one-storey wing of one room to each side, that to right having roof replaced in corrugated iron. Four-panel half-glazed door with reeded flush lower panels. Casements of three six-pane lights under painted cambered gauged-brick arches; two flush gable chimneys.
Interior. Chamfered oak beams in front rooms, some reused but one with stopped chamfers; dogleg stair with winders, probably replaced; six-panel doors and broad-board doors on HL hinges; broad-board door to right rear bedroom has a pair of ornate long hinges, probably circa 1700.
