19th century parkland, kitchen garden, old fruit trees and ancillary garden buildings. A number of old fruit trees survive in the Kitchen garden. Historic photograph of house with young Wellingtonia on right.

Brook Hall is located on the outskirts of the village. A grand property, it was variously occupied by affluent Liverpool brokers and merchants and it is also known locally because Grakle, the winning horse in the 1931 Grand National, is buried in the grounds.
