Full Description

A Second World War searchlight battery is visible as a structure on air photographs (see 2), centred at SJ 5739 8496. No surface features are visible on the latest 1990 Ordnance Survey vertical photography (see 3). This site may be associated with a searchlight battery to the south (UID 1462552) and an anti aircraft battery to the east (UID 1462459).
