The quarry is not depicted on this map.

<2> Ordnance Survey, 1896-1898, Ordnance Survey First Revision County Series (Epoch 2) 25 inch to 1 mile - Cheshire, SJ9369, 1897 (Maps and Plans). SCH3848.

This map depicts a small oval shaped quarry accessed from a narrow entrance on the north-eastern side. To the immediate left is a small spoil heap, with a further larger spoil heap to its north-east. A tramway runs from the quarry workings along the top of this larger spoil heap. A further tramway runs north-east towards Foxbank Farm, where the tramway gently turns to the north-west. The tramway ends in woodland (Taylor Wood) adjacent to Hollin Lane.

<3> Ordnance Survey, 1909-1912, Ordnance Survey Second Revision County Series (Epoch 3) 25 inch to 1 mile - Cheshire, SJ9369, 1909 (Maps and Plans). SCH4361.

The quarry workings have expanded and appear to incorporate two working levels. A short tramway and spoil heap are associated with this higher level.

The quarry is clearly visible on this aerial photography. The absence of vegetation suggests that the quarry may still be in use. The tramway appears to be largely disused, with a section nearest the quarry reused for vehicle access.

<5> Huntings Surveys Ltd, 1971-1973, 1971-1973 County Survey, HSL UK 71 109 Run 45 no. 4031 & 4032 07/07/71 (Aerial Photograph). SCH4881.

The quarry appears disused. The tramway is visible as an earthwork.

<6> Environment Agency, 2003-2020, Environment Agency LiDAR Surveys, 1m Composite DTM 2020 ( 26/07/2022) (Digital Archive). SCH7819.

The quarry and its associated spoil heaps survive as a distinct earthwork. The course of the tramway also survives as a series of embankments and cuttings, though the earthworks associated with the section between Foxbank Farm and Hollin Lane are comparatively slight.
