Distinctive blocks of parallel linear earthworks in the form of distinct ridges and troughs known as ridge and furrow forming part of an extensive area of similar earthworks. Some show slight aratral curves. These earthworks have been created by medieval and early post medieval cultivation practices. Further earthworks mark the locations of former field boundaries and marl pits.
