<5> See map for surveyor, c.1837-51, Cheshire Tithe Maps and Awards, EDT 274/2, 1838 (Maps and Plans). SCH3266.

This map depicts three buildings on the northern side of a short road between Broadoak Lane and Witchcote wood. The western of the three buildings is the largest and possibly comprises more than one adjoining buildings. To the east is a smaller square building. Between and on the northern side is a small square building with an attached small square enclosure on its southern side. A pond lies to the south of the buildings and road. Described as a homestead and garden.

<6> Ordnance Survey, 1871-1882, Ordnance Survey County Series (Epoch 1) 25 inch to 1 mile - Cheshire, SJ7780, 1876-1877 (Maps and Plans). SCH2462.

A similar depiction to the 1838 tithe map, however, the western building seems substantially smaller. The eastern building is probably the house. To the north is an orchard.

<7> Ordnance Survey, 1896-1898, Ordnance Survey First Revision County Series (Epoch 2) 25 inch to 1 mile - Cheshire, SJ7780, 1898 (Maps and Plans). SCH3848.

The house and associated buildings have been demolished and replaced by a new house and farm buildings to the east and northeast. The road is no longer extant.
