Shippon and stable (now in miscellaneous farm use), probably late C18 altered and repaired mid C19. Reddish-buff sandstone with Kerridge stone-slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 boarded doors (2 divided) and a small window to lower storey. Datestone WN 1670: PLB 1863 on lintel probably inserted by Sir Philip Brocklehurst.of Swythamley. Small ventilators in loft have 2 superimposed landing-stones, probably for pigeons. Small rectangular pitch-holes to loft at rear.
