Monument record 15455 - Ridge and Furrow on Nab Hill

Medieval or post medieval ridge and furrow ploughing on the eastern edge of the parish of Bollington is visible as earthworks on vertical aerial photographs (see 2 & 3).

Appears to be associated with a relict field boundary defined by a ditch flanked by banks on either side (see 5). A number of hedgerow trees survive along the former field boundary.
