Full Description

A medieval or post medieval braided trackway is visible as earthwork hollow ways centred at approximately SJ 9421 7869 on lidar imagery (see 2). The trackway remains extant on the latest 2010 vertical aerial photography (see 3).

The western end of the track way would probably adjoin the north-south track or lane which is depicted on this map running over Nab Head from Cock Shut Hey, via Nab House, to Long Lane.

Possibly the road depicted on this map winding along the southern side of the hill to join Long Lane.
