Partial ring ditch visible as a cropmark in fields to the north-west of Aston. The south-eastern two thirds of the circumference is visible as a cropmark, the (presumed) unseen third is located within an area of pasture beyond a field boundary (hedgerow) which runs through the feature. The ring ditch is c.33 metres in diameter with a ditch c.2-3 metres in width. To the south-east is a further cropmark. Less distinct, and smaller than the ring ditch, this cropmark appears to a ditch defining a sub-square area with rounded corners. The feature is c.20 x 22 metres, and the ditch is c.2.6 metres wide.

Possibly a small barrow cemetery comprising a round barrow and a square barrow. The location of the barrow cemetery, on land overlooking the river valley, would be consistent with other barrows and barrow cemeteries in Cheshire. Some Bronze Age metalwork has been found in the vicinity, CHER 14215 (fragment of a socketed spearhead) c.400 metres to the north-east, and CHER 381 (part of a cast flanged axe head) c.730 metres to the south-east, but this only indicates activity in the area during the period.
