Full Description

Formerly threshing barn and other units, now shippon with hayloft above. Early eighteenth century with late eighteenth century addition and late nineteenth century alterations. Washed brick with corrugated asbestos roof. Long rectangular plan with short perpendicular range at the east end. Two-storey, eleven-bay north front. Left end bay projects and has brick band at first floor, with ventilation slots and pitch hole above. Inserted garage doors in the side. At centre of remainder, is a flight of external steps to door in gabled dormer. To left of this, there is a brick band at first floor rising over a cart door. Four other openings with segmental brick heads. Ventilation slots and a pitch hole above. Similar to the right of the steps but no brick band.
Interior: has weak, pegged trusses of tie-beam and collar, some with diagonal struts. Trenched purlins and cleft rafters. Some drive and gearing for belt-driven machinery survives.
