Braided hollow ways and trackways of potential medieval and / or post medieval date are visible as extant earthworks centred at approximately SJ 9934 7361 on the latest 2011 vertical aerial photography. The trackways run in a north-south orientation across Shining Tor for approximately 765 metres, with various branches to the east. One of these later branches appears to cut a post medieval field boundary (CHER 15310)
