Extensive braided hollow ways and trackways of possible medieval and / or post medieval origin are visible as extant earthworks centred at approximately SJ 990 722 on the latest 2011 vertical aerial photography. The trackways largely appear to run in an east-west direction, the longest continuous trackway being over 905 metres in length. Other, more fragmented elements of the network of hollow ways branch off to north and south
