A group of three post medieval coal mining adits and associated spoil heaps are visible as extant earthworks centred at approximately SJ 9876 8290 on lidar imagery (see 2). The adits appear to exploit a natural rocky outcrop and remain extant on the latest 2011 aerial photography (see 3).
