Farmhouse: early eighteenth century. English bond orange brick, washed stone dressings, Welsh slate roof and two gable brick chimneys. three-storey, symmetrical seven-bay front. Blue brick plinth, flush stone quoins, plain bands at first and second floor, coved and dentilated cornice. Tall two-light wooden casements with flat gauged brick heads. There are three either side of a central doorway on ground storey, four on the first floor and three in the top storey. Six-panelled door in moulded surround with fielded panelled reveals, has a gabled hood. Brick bands to sides and rear. Two-storey, three-bay nineteenth addition to left. Interior: entry into hall with exposed ceiling beams. To rear oak well staircase with chamfered handrail, square newels and bulbous turned balusters. Part of hall and stairwell has seventeenth century wainscotting, remainder from Portal Tarporley. Six-panelled doors with panelled reveals. Room to left has an inglenook fireplace end room to right a Neo-Classical fireplace.
