Full Description
<1> Bluesky International Ltd, 2010, 2010 Bluesky Survey (Aerial Photograph). SCH5444.
Blocks of parallel linear earthworks, in the form of distinct ridges and troughs known as ridge and furrow. Ridge and furrow earthworks form as a result of medieval and post medieval cultivation practices, these appear to be medieval in origin, the ridges being broader and the lines of the earthworks curving in nature. In places there are clear headlands formed by the turning of the plough and differenciating between individual blocks.
