Summary

Blocks of parallel linear earthworks, in the form of distinct ridges and troughs known as ridge and furrow, survive in the vicinity of Kennels Moat Farm. Ridge and furrow earthworks form as a result of medieval and post medieval cultivation practices. The majority of this ridge and furrow appears to be medieval in date having broader, curving ridges.
