This map depicts buildings at this location. They are labelled as Brook House, but it isn't clear if this label refers to this group of buildings, the building to the south-west (see CHER 15241), or both.
<2> See map for surveyor, c.1837-51, Cheshire Tithe Maps and Awards, EDT 315/2 c.1846 (Maps and Plans). SCH3266.
This map depicts a group of five buildings. The plots are described as a cottage and garden, and a house, yard and garden.

The buildings are no longer extant.

Possibly the Brookhouses referred to in documentary sources. The earliest reference is 1541-2 and may be the John Darlington's house referred to in 1475.

Site is now submerged due to subsidence.
