Monument record 15229 - Former Lane Surviving as Earthworks to the North of Booths Hall Farm

Please read our .

Summary

The course of a lane between Norbury Booths Hall and the Marthall Brook survives as a shallow earthwork bounded by slight ditches and banks, to the north-west of its successor. It is probable that that the lane dates from the medieval period until the reorganisation of the surrounding field systems and establishment of the parkland surrounding the Hall sometime in the late eighteenth or early nineteenth century.
