Farmhouse: early eighteenth century with major alterations dated 1833. Coursed squared buff sandstone rubble. Kerridge stone-slate roof, stone ridge and two stone gable chimneys. Double pile plan. Two-storey, symmetrical, three-bay front. End bays have large windows with fixed glazing bars, with a panel of four sliding horizontally, under hammer-dressed lintels. Open gabled porch has partial ashlar front with bead moulded heavy lintel. Four-board door with iron strap hinges behind, smaller but similar window above. To rear left end bay has four-light chamfered stone mullions and central bay has a similar four-light and a two-light above (both partly blocked).
Interior: Not seen but timber-framed partition walls with stone flagged infill and heavy ceiling beams reported.
A double-pile plan with seventeenth style mullioned windows and interior details.
