Full Description
<1> English Heritage, 2005, List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest, 404757 (Digital Archive). SCH4666.
Flat-topped trapezoidal sandstone outcrop, shaped and given recessed cornice with tooled surface (cut into rock) on north and east sides, mid nineteenth century or earlier. Remnant of iron tethering ring on east side. Probably the site of a drovers' meeting-place.
