House, mid C18, red-brown brick, Flemish bond to front, with graded grey slate roof. 2 storeys; symmetrical 3-window left wing (attached to No. 5 Park Road (Newton Old Hall), q.v. plus projecting 2-window cross-wing, left. Door, boarded up during survey (June 1985), in Tuscan pedimented case. Boarded-up 12-pane recessed sashes in openings with wedge lintels and projecting stone cills. Dentilled cornice to front; simpler cornice to left end and rear. Flush right gable chimney and ridge chimney over junction of wings; lateral chimney on right side of rear of cross-wing. Canted rear end to cross-wing. In early stages of repair, the interior could not be inspected.
