Full Description

House, now partially in use as dentist's surgery. Early nineteenth century with eighteenth century core and mid nineteenth century extension. Brick with graded slate roof. two-storeys, four-window range, with doorway in centre of original building, extended by one bay to the right in identical style. Door in timber porch with chamfered posts carrying entablature. Sash windows have flat-arched brick heads, painted. Shallow full-height bow in gable return to north, with tripartite window to ground floor forming French doors with canopy over carried on cast-iron columns. Rear wing possibly an earlier build, with three-light iron casement windows on each floor, and a tall stair window with iron glazing bars on inner elevation. Axial stacks to main range and wing. INTERIOR: not inspected.
