Full Description

A number of linear cropmarks are visible on these aerial photographs.
<2> National Remote Sensing Centre Ltd, 1992-3, National Remote Sensing Centre County Survey (1992-1993), Line 22 no.172, 26/08/1993 (Aerial Photograph). SCH5297.
Parallel linear cropmarks aligned north-east to south-west. These cropmarks appear to be overlain by a small number of other linear cropmarks on differing alignments.

The parallel cropmarks may be furrows, associated with ridge and furrow, or modern field drainage. Other linear cropmarks correspond to field boundaries visible on the OS 1st edition (see 4).
