Linear cropmarks possibly defining a trackway are visible on this aerial photograph. The features are initially aligned north-south, but turn at their northern end to a more north-west to south-east alignment.
<2> Various, Various, Oral communication to the HER, Edwards R, 23/10/2018 (Oral Communication). SCH2330.
If a track or lane, this may have been a continuation of the lane passing Gleads Moss Cottage, which turns to the north-west towards Welltrough Hall Farm. The broad light cropmark visible between the cropmark and this farm visible on (1) may be a continuation of this feature (see CHER 14376).
