Monument record 14374 - Linear Cropmarks Adjacent to Fir Tree Farm

Two parallel linear features are visible as cropmarks. The cropmarks are aligned north-east to south-west, though appear to turn to a more westerly alignment at their south-western end.

The cropmarks visible on (1) are also faintly visible on this aerial photograph.

These cropmarks correspond with the field boundaries which flanked a lane which used run along the northern side of Swettenham Heath (see 4). The lane had been removed by 1897-1898 (see 5).
