Full Description

<1> Peak District National Park Archaeology Service, 2003, Blaze Farm Archaeological Field Survey for the Peak District Environmental Quality Mark Scheme, p.8 (Client Report). SCH8567.

A bridge built from coursed sandstone blocks. It has parapets on either side. The bridge was built sometime before 1849, the date of the earliest available detailed map of the area (see 2). Probably eighteenth or nineteenth century in date.
