Summary

Below the floor of the Perpendicular North Aisle is the undercroft of a medieval town house which was filled in and paved over. 16th century references record the donation of the land and building for the North aisle extension.

Below the floor of the Perpendicular North Aisle is the undercroft of a medieval town house which was filled in and paved over.

1528 - Foulk Dutton donated land to St Peters for the rebuilding and extension of the North aisle. Also gave the timber of the house on the site and paid for the east window of the north aisle.
