This map depicts the hall and the surrounding gardens and other features. Divided into a number of plots, the one containing the hall and grounds to its immediate west, east and south is described as Bonis Hall and pleasure grounds. A number of path or drives flanked by tree are depicted in this area. A pond lies at its southerly extent. The plot to the immediate north of the hall contains a small rectangular building and a square pond. It is described as a garden. To the far west a building and yard is depicted. Further gardens are located adjacent to Bonis Hall lane, which passes much closer to the hall than on later maps.
<3> Ordnance Survey, 1871-1882, Ordnance Survey County Series (Epoch 1) 25 inch to 1 mile - Cheshire, SJ9078, 1871-1881 (Maps and Plans). SCH2462.
Bonis Hall lane has been moved to its present location. The gardens which lay on its eastern side have been expanded and a new access to the park and hall created. A glasshouse, possibly a conservatory, is depicted on the south-eastern side of the house. The area to the north of the house now appears to be an orchard.
<4> Ordnance Survey, 1896-1898, Ordnance Survey First Revision County Series (Epoch 2) 25 inch to 1 mile - Cheshire, SJ9078, 1897-1898 (Maps and Plans). SCH3848.
The gardens which lay on its eastern side of the new access to the park now contain a glasshouse. A lodge has been constructed where the original drive meets Bonis Hall Lane.
<5> Ordnance Survey, 1909-1912, Ordnance Survey Second Revision County Series (Epoch 3) 25 inch to 1 mile - Cheshire, SJ9078, 1909 (Maps and Plans). SCH4361.
Further glasshouses have been constructed in the gardens.
