The site of a nineteenth century mill. One mill building still survives (see CHER 2621/1) and other features such as the mill pond survive as earthworks.

A building of about 1812, now a residence, with the remains of a pool adjoining the Chapel House Inn.

The watermill stood on the stream north west of Mobberley Station. References date from 1819.

This map depicts the mill building, mill pond to the north east, leat from Mobberley Brook to the south and a converging twin tail races to the west. It is labelled on the map as New Mill.

Similar to the tithe map (4), but the trail races are no longer visible. They have possibly been incorporated into the second mill building built after 1838 (see CHER 2621/1).

The original mill building has been demolished. The site of the mill pond is woodland.
