Mansion (which is an erection of George the second or thirds time) has undergone considerable alteration during the occupancy of the present propretor (1819)

Old Henbury Hall was erected for the Merediths in 1742. House was a classical block with a giant order of pilasters set upon high bases. Inside was good 18th century plasterwork but house was emodelled in severe neo classical style in the early 19th century, stuccoed and drastically reduced in size in the 1850s. House demolished post 1957 and stable block converted into a house. A new palladian villa was built on the site of the old hall in the 1980s. Phoeo of the old hall prior to demolition
