A series of generally parallel semi-regular straight cropmarks aligned north-east to south-west. These features may be former field boundaries associated with a late prehistoric, Romano-British, medieval or early post medieval field system. Alternatively these features may be periglacial in origin. For the later field system see CHER 2162/1.
