Summary

Many small pits with associated trackways surviving as earthworks on the hillside. Historic maps suggest that these are the remains of small quarries excavated for the extraction of the local stone.

Full Description

Approximately ten small pit like depressions are visible as earthworks. Associated are three possible trackways and a rectangular pit. A ruined structure is visible in the largest (and most southerly) pit.
