Full Description
<1> See map for surveyor, c.1837-51, Cheshire Tithe Maps and Awards, EDT 343/2, 1848 (Maps and Plans). SCH3266.
Two buildings located within a small plot of land within a pasture field are depicted on the 1848 tithe map for Rostherne Township. The award records no details about the buildings, but their colouring on the map suggests cottages or a farmstead.
<2> Ordnance Survey, 1871-1882, Ordnance Survey County Series (Epoch 1) 25 inch to 1 mile - Cheshire, SJ7484, 1876-1877 (Maps and Plans). SCH2462.
Neither the buildings nor the small plot in which they were located are depicted on this map.
