Full Description
<1> Bluesky International Ltd, 2010, 2010 Bluesky Survey (Aerial Photograph). SCH5444.
Earthworks are visible on this aerial photograph which appear to define a two small fields adjacent to a probable north-south aligned lane. Where the two fields join is a rectangular depression which may be the site of a building. At it's northern end, the lane joins an west-north-west to east-south-east aligned lane. Both these lanes appear incised and are generally defined by banks, and in some places, lynchets.
<2> See map for surveyor, c.1837-51, Cheshire Tithe Maps and Awards, EDT 379/2, 1850 (Maps and Plans). SCH3266.
The western c.75m of the west-north-west to east-south-east aligned lane is depicted as a road on this map. Some of the field boundaries which survive as earthworks are also depicted.
