<1> JA Story & Partners, 1985, 1985 Story & Partners Survey, Line 7, no.045, 30/05/1985 (Aerial Photograph). SCH2993.
This survey depicts three evenly spaced cropmarks in the shape of ring ditches. The ring ditches are c.15-16m in diameter.
<2> Various, Various, Oral communication to the HER, Edwards R, 06/07/2017 (Oral Communication). SCH2330.
Three ring ditches aligned in a line on a north-north-east to south-south-west alignment. The cropmarks appear evenly spaced. It is possible that these represent three round barrows forming a small barrow cemetery. However, they could be later features, perhaps formed by the placement of animal feeders. These cropmarks seem to overlie the features of CHER 7967. These may be natural features, however, if they are medieval, it is unlikely that they represent the remains of round barrows.
