Summary

The remains of four walls of an outbuilding, in the grounds of Hoole Hall, were excavated as part of a programme of archaeological mitigation in 2016 and 2017. The outbuilding is depicted on OS mapping dating to 1899, but not on that of 1871, indicating a construction date in the late nineteenth century. The artefactual evidence recovered confirmed this date.

The remains of four walls of an outbuilding, in the grounds of Hoole Hall, were excavated as part of a programme of archaeological mitigation in 2016 and 2017.
