A possible silver pendant of Post-Medieval date. The appears to be complete. The object is heart shaped in plan and has a hollow concave back face. The front face is decorated with five raised bosses, each of which are surrounded with a single rope-twist band. The outer edge of the heart is also decorated with a rope-twist band.Dimensions: 17mm in length, 13mm in width, 4mm thick, 1.5g. Similar examples which can be found on the PAS database is SF-28FE61 and ESS-9B6308. The decoration is consistent with Post-Medieval hooked tags and pin heads of 16th century date that are commonly recorded under the Treasure Act (see for example Treasure Annual Report 2004: nos. 262-264, 268, 271, 275, 285-295). This would suggest a similar 16th century date for the pendant.
