A copper alloy vessel leg/foot probably dating from the Medieval period. The object is tongue-shaped in plan with straight sides narrowing towards the foot, the edges of which are rounded. The face of the upper edge is obliquely angled and is expanded where it would have attached to the body of the vessel. The upper edge has a smooth mid-green patina. Each face of the object is covered with patches of a black deposit which is probably a sooty/carbon deposit. Dimensions: 45mm in length, 45mm in width, 10mm thick, 102.8g.
