Excavations in 2014 uncovered a 1.7m wide stretch of cobblestone path running North/ South. The path was formed from rounded, grey, water-worn cobblestones with a distinctive central drainage channel demarcated by more elongated cobblestones set centrally and set slightly lower down to the surrounding surface level. The cobblestone surface evidently fell out of use and was sealed beneath layers which produced ceramics of the late medieval to early post-medieval period.
