The c.1848 tithe map for Marthall and Little Warford depicts two larger and two smaller buildings at this location. The accompanying award describes this plot as two cottages and garden.

Only the northernmost cottage is still extant. There are a number of smaller buildings near the cottage and in the surrounding plots and orchards, only one of which corresponds with the smaller buildings depicted on the tithe map (see 1).
