The 1839 tithe map for Faddiley depicts two plots with two buildings. Only the southern plot (no. 200) has an entry in the acompanying award. It is described as "Cottages and Gardens". A long linear plot to the immediate north-west of these plots, is named Hob Lane.

This 1875 map depicts two cottages with associated outbuildings and gardens. Hob Lane takes the form of an unenclosed trackway or footpath to the immediate north-west.
