Monument record 7849 - The Bungalow

A timber bungalow located on the outskirts of Gorstella is a possible "Homes for Heroes" prefab built after the first world war.

A timber clad or timber built bungalow c.20m x c.6m. The roof appeared to be asbestos tiles laid in a diamond pattern. Two chimneys placed to divide the building into thirds. Five to six windows on the roadside elevation and a centrally placed door. Historic mpas (3 and 4) indicate a constructuction date of between 1913 and 1938. Demolished 2013.
