Summary

The tithe map for Chorley (Acton) township depicts five buildings, with associated small plots, arranged on the southern side of an east-west aligned lane between Chorleystock and Brook House Farm. All the buildings and their associated plots had been demolished by the start of the twentieth century.

The tithe map for Chorley (Acton) township depicts five buildings, with associated small plots, arranged on the southern side of an east-west aligned lane between Chorleystock and Brook House Farm.

Four of the buildings and small plots are no longer extant. A short section of the lane survives next to the building. Access to Chorleystock is via an unenclosed path or track through the re-organised fields. There is no longer any access to Brook House Farm. This map depicts a well 140m to the south of the surviving building.
