The tithe map for Haughton township records a building at this location. The associated award records the owner at William Bishton Garnett and the occupier as Thomas Dentith. The plot is described as "Cottage Buildings Garden etc." The building is located on a lane leading from Laurel Farm to Haughton Hall.

The building is still extant, though the lane may have been relagated to a field track or footpath.
